A better place to write and publish

A better place to write and publish

The editor got the most love:

  • Live preview. A new Write / Preview toggle renders your piece exactly the way readers will see it — headings, code blocks, the works — before you hit publish. No more guessing.
  • Autosave. Your draft now saves itself as you type, with a quiet “Saved a moment ago.” Close the tab by accident, come back, and it’s waiting for you.
  • A paywall you can actually find. One clearly-labelled Insert paywall break button drops the divider where your free preview ends — and in Preview you can see the exact line where members-only begins.
  • Plain Save draft / Publish buttons, always in reach at the bottom of the editor.
  • A simpler “Who can read this?” — free, members-only, or pay-per-piece, in one place.

Settings that make sense

Settings was one long scroll. It’s now grouped into Identity, Getting paid, and Platform, with a sticky sidebar so you jump straight to the setting you want instead of hunting for it.

A dashboard that tells the truth

Your creator dashboard now shows your real numbers — revenue over the last 12 months, recent activity, and recent subscribers — pulled from actual payments. The old sample/placeholder widgets are gone.

Polish, everywhere

A proper “page not found” page. Creator profiles now open to the tab that actually has your work. Creator names never render blank. Friendlier empty states, a confirmation before you change your handle, and signed-out visitors land on Explore instead of a dead end.

Behind the scenes

We also shored up the Lightning plumbing — the relay that carries zap payouts had a stability hiccup, now fixed and on automatic maintenance so it stays healthy.

This is all part of one goal: make PaterNostr the most pleasant place to publish writing and audio and get paid directly by the people who value it. More soon — and if something feels off, tell us. We’re listening.
